Scannell Properties Welcomes Top New Hires To In-House Team of Experts
Angela Wethington and Kris Arviso assume executive level positions at the company’s Indianapolis headquarters and a new Dallas office
Scannell Properties has added two new hires to a rapidly expanding dynamic team: senior executives Angela Wethington as a director, and Kris Arviso as a managing director.
Wethington will be involved in capital related issues for the firm including underwriting, dispositions, debt, and equity. She will be based at Scannell’s Indianapolis headquarters. Arviso will develop new business in the company’s new Dallas office.
Angela Wethington is a graduate of Indiana University where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a Business Administration minor. She received her law degree from Indiana University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana. She comes to Scannell after she last served as Vice President of Asset Management for Browning Investments, LLC, an Indiana-based commercial real estate development and construction company. Prior to Browning, she was Senior Vice President of Investment Sales at Cassidy Turley, where she directed investment sales on over 72 investment offerings and portfolios totaling more than 33.6 million square feet with an estimated value in excess of $1.5 billion. Among other notable industry affiliations, she is a founding member of the Indianapolis Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), an advisory board member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), and a board member/secretary for the Indianapolis Parks Foundation.
Prior to joining Scannell as a managing director, Kris Arviso was a Senior Vice President and member of the industrial transactions team at Clarion Partners based in Dallas, TX, where he was responsible for acquisition, dispositions, and development transactions. During his career, he has executed more than $2 billion in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development and debt across the central and eastern regions of the US. In addition to his role in the US, Kris co-managed Clarion Partner’s industrial platform in Brazil. Prior to joining Clarion Partners in 2007, Kris worked at Wells Fargo in the Real Estate Merchant Banking Group. Kris is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (“NAIOP”) and is an active member of NAIOP ‘s National Capital Markets III forum.
