Scannell Properties promotes four leaders to new roles, elevating construction management capabilities.
Scannell Properties, an international commercial real estate developer, has promoted Jeremy Smart, Mike Simmons, Brad Walthall and Don Tuttle to the new role of director of construction. The promotions recognize the expertise and experience each leader brings to Scannell Properties.
Jeremy Smart has been with Scannell Properties for two years as a vice president of construction. He has prior experience as both a financial analyst and construction project manager. Jeremy spent 13 years at Duke Realty, and four years as a regional project manager with Amazon. He earned a B.S. in real estate finance from Indiana University.
Mike Simmons has been with Scannell Properties for eight years, most recently as senior vice president of construction. Mike’s experience includes 5 years in structural engineering, 18 years in construction development and general contractor work, and 9 years in federal government contracting. Mike earned a B.A. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
Brad Walthall has been with Scannell Properties for eight years, most recently as senior vice president of project management. His 30 years of industry experience includes 15 years as a general contractor, four years as a construction and property manager and 11 years as a project manager in development. Brad was named the 2004 project manager of the year at the American Subcontractors Association, Greater Kansas City Chapter. Brad attended Hutchinson Jr. College where he lettered in baseball. He completed his studies at Emporia State University.
Don Tuttle has been with Scannell Properties for nine years, most recently as senior vice president of project management. Don is LEED AP BC+C certified. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the general contracting and real estate development industry. He earned a B.B.A. in management from Texas Christian University.
Jeremy and Mike work out of Scannell Properties’ Indianapolis office. Brad and Don work out of the Kansas City office.
