Scannell Properties kicks off Dove Ranch Business Center in Laveen, AZ with construction launch for 131,500 SF PFG-Vistar facility
Indianapolis, IN (June 16, 2023) Scannell Properties, an international commercial real estate developer, has launched construction of 131,500-SF office and warehouse facility for Performance Food Group – Vistar at the Dove Ranch Business Center industrial park in Laveen, AZ. The build-to-suit facility is one of six proposed buildings within the development
The PFG-Vistar facility, located on the south corner of the business park, off of 65th Avenue and W. Carver Road will be a dry goods and cold storage distribution center. The center will include dedicated areas for assembly, dry storage, cooler and freezer, and cold dock space. The facility also will have administration and dispatch offices. Construction is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2023.
“This new facility puts us right where we need to be for our operations in the Southwest U.S. Adding significant capacity that’s been sorely needed for some time, and enabling efficient assembly of dry, cold and freezer goods, will expedite our distribution and add tremendously to our customer service levels,” said Noel Caskey, PFG-Vistar operating company president.
The Dove Ranch Business Center is located on the southwest edge of the 202-business loop in Phoenix. In addition to PFG-Vistar building, Scannell has over 90 acres entitled with a master site plan in place to accommodate an additional five buildings ranging from 100,000 SF – 305,000 SF in the first phase. Phase two includes an additional 148 acres for build-to-suit purposes.
