10th successful project in Germany since market entry in 2019

  • Scannell’s „Industrie Park Kitzingen“ (Bavaria) is home to 10th successful logistics real estate project in Germany.
  • The second speculative building in Kitzingen with 23,500 m² was pre-let. A third speculative building on the site with approximately 7,000 m² can still be developed and leased.
  • Scannell Properties has a project pipeline of up to 120,000 m² due for delivery in multiple locations in Germany over the next 12 months
  • The company is also working on a number of land acquisitions in the mid-term.

At the former military site in Kitzingen, Bavaria, Scannell Properties Germany has announced that it has successfully leased the second phase of its speculative logistics with a unit totaling 23,500 m². This also represents the 10th project in Germany since the market launch in 2019.

A third phase of speculative building with around 7,000 m² can still be developed and leased in Scannell’s „Industrie Park Kitzingen“. As with the other projects developed at the park this new phase is attractive to to occupiers due to its flexible design, generous development plan, high availability of labour and rapid connections to Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt.

“Industrie Park Kitzingen”, also offers a unique and highly attractive feature for occupiers with an innovative, local heating system which uses the combustion of wood chips, a renewable raw material, and therefore has a much lower primary energy requirement.
