Valerie Becker is a senior director at Scannell Properties and is responsible for all aspects of capital-related issues with a focus on structuring debt and developing lender relationships. She has extensive experience in underwriting, financing and lending in the commercial real estate capital markets.
Prior to her role at Scannell Properties, Valerie was vice president and commercial real estate officer at The National Bank of Indianapolis. She also worked at Simon Property Group in Indianapolis, Fitch Ratings in Chicago and SunTrust Banks in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Valerie is a management committee member at the Urban Land Institute Indiana and serves on the board of The Milk Bank. She was recognized as a national 50 under 40 by Real Estate Forum in 2018. Valerie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
