Valerie Becker is a senior director in the Capital group at Scannell Properties, where she guides the structuring and execution of capital solutions across the firm’s development platform. She brings deep expertise in debt and equity structuring, underwriting, and investor coordination, with particular emphasis on debt execution and lender relationships.
Previously, Valerie held capital markets and commercial real estate roles with The National Bank of Indianapolis, Simon Property Group, Fitch Ratings, and SunTrust Banks.
Valerie is an active member of Executive Women in Finance, IndyCREW, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where she previously served on management committee, including as Chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative. She is also an avid supporter of The Milk Bank, having recently retired from its board. She was recognized as a National 50 Under 40 by Real Estate Forum in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
