Ian MacDonald
Director of Development
Ian is a Director of Development at Scannell Properties, responsible for managing and expanding the company’s speculative and build-to-suit development pipeline across Texas and North Florida, including site selection, land acquisition, due diligence, design, entitlements, construction, lease negotiations, client services and business development.
Prior to Scannell Properties, Ian served in a variety of roles at Turner Construction Company in Chicago and Indianapolis within engineering, project management and business development on mission critical and higher education projects.
Ian earned his MBA from University of Chicago-Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management, Finance and Accounting and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Purdue University. He is an active member of the ULI-Industrial Product Council and NAIOP-NTX.
