Kevin Lao is a development manager at Scannell Properties. He joined the Northern California team in 2026 and works on build-to-suit and speculative industrial projects. His responsibilities include site selection and evaluation, underwriting, entitlement and design, contract negotiation, client services, leasing and sales. He manages projects in California throughout the entirety of the development life cycle, from project inception to disposition.
Prior to joining Scannell, Kevin worked as a development manager for CenterPoint Properties, a national industrial developer with an office in Oakland, CA. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and master’s degree from San Jose State University. He holds a professional engineer’s license in the state of CA.
