Scannell Properties Completes Sylo Apartments in Zionsville
Scannell Properties recently completed its Zionsville, Indiana luxury apartment community – Sylo.
“Sylo Apartments reflect a commitment to quality and community in partnership with the town of Zionsville and Pittman Partners’ long-standing vision for the corner,” said Scannell Properties’ Director of Development Shawn Hitchcock. “We are extremely proud of the effort from the design team, project team and local trade partners to steward this vision to reality in what we hope will be a wonderful new long-term asset and destination for the community at large.”
Located at the eastern gateway to Zionsville at U.S. Route 421 and Sycamore Street, Sylo Apartments is the first phase of meticulously planned, 48-acre mixed-use development, The Farm, which combines exceptional dining, retail, office spaces, and luxury apartments in a setting inspired by the area’s rich history and farmstead aesthetic.
Sylo Apartments feature 400 one-, two-, and three-bedroom luxury units spread across three four-story buildings. Designed to provide modern living in a scenic and tranquil environment, Sylo offers residents the opportunity to leave the distractions of the world behind while enjoying best-in-class amenities.
Residents benefit from a golf simulator, a resort-style saltwater pool with cabanas, pickleball court, putting green, a yoga lounge with a virtual fitness studio, a dog park, and a pet spa. The apartments also include a library and work-from-home space with conference rooms, social lounges, outdoor fire pits, grilling stations, and a community pavilion inspired by the iconic Pittman Farms barn. Inside each unit, features such as modern two-tone kitchen cabinets, kitchen islands, in-unit washers and dryers, and private balconies in select apartments ensure a luxurious living experience.
The second phase of the mixed-use development, being developed by Pittman Investors includes dining, retail, and office developments with the first 5 buildings 100% leased with openings such as Shake Shack, Cava, Bipibop, opening in Q3 and Q4 2025.
Sylo represents a collaborative effort among all largely Indianapolis-based industry-leading firms, including the project design team led by DELV design, Lynch Harrison and Brumleve, Circle Design, Context Design, and BKV Group (Minnesota). Construction was managed by Shiel Sexton Co. and the community is operated by J.C. Hart Company. Project lenders were Merchants Capital, Merchants Bank, and Lake City Bank.
Sylo Apartments and the Farm redefines community living in Zionsville, offering a seamless blend of living, working, and leisure.
