On a plot of 22,000 m², a 13,300 m² facility incorporates a 12,600 m² warehouse with 20 loading bays, 600 m² of dedicated office space, outbuildings and a large manoeuvring area for HGVs. The modern space in close proximity to the logistics operator’s existing cross-dock facility allow it to optimise distribution operations in the region.
Sustainability in action
Logistic Park Montornès was developed on a brownfield site of a former discotheque, unlocking much-needed warehouse space in the Barcelona area. Recyclable demolition materials were integrated into the foundations and floor, establishing sustainability from the outset.
The facility exceeds basic requirements with intelligent LED lighting, abundant natural light, and rock wool insulation for thermal efficiency. Electric vehicle chargers, on-site energy production, and water management systems further enhance sustainability, earning BREEAM Excellent certification.
