Environmental Features
The existing building will be demolished and replaced by a new Built-to-Suit logistics facility, designed to meet the specific requirements of its future occupant.
A new logistics platform will be developed on a former industrial brownfield site on the edge of the Facq-et-Juré state forest. The land is bordered by an ecological corridor to the west and north. Out of the 8-hectare plot, nearly 28,000 m² are dedicated to biodiversity through landscaped areas including groves, tree plantations, meadows, and vegetated basins.
The new warehouse will feature a modern and sustainable design, incorporating material reuse, native vegetation, and wildlife shelters.
- Nearly 15,000 m² of green spaces will include meadows, hedgerows, and ponds, enhancing biodiversity and ecological connectivity.
- 5,555 photovoltaic panels will cover the building’s roof, providing a total installed capacity of 2.5 MWp.
- 100% of rainwater will be collected and managed through a 1,600 m³ retention basin.
The warehouse is targeting both BREEAM Excellent certification and the BiodiverCity® label, reflecting the project’s environmental performance and the successful integration of the new facility into its natural surroundings.
