The Rock Hill Economic Development Corp in Rock Hill, SC has approved Scannell Properties' plans for two buildings in a new 100-acre park to be called Legacy West. As many as five buildings – about 400,000 square feet of space – could be built for manufacturing or distribution operations and potential businesses could employ between 5,000 and 8,000 people at the site.
Scannell Properties is developing flexible industrial real estate that can adapt to ever-evolving technology and logistics, according to Scannell's Managing Director of Development Tim Elam who was interviewed in Knowledge Leader magazine for their Winter 2016 issue. Construction on the new corporate headquarters for the luxury clothing manufacturer, Peter Millar, is underway. The 115,500 square foot building will house the company’s corporate headquarters and also serve as a fulfillment center for the 14-year old company that was founded in Raleigh, NC.
Scannell Properties will be developing 100 acres in the Rock Hill-area business park, in South Carolina.
